Carol is founder and director of North Shore Health Therapies, a company providing health enrichment therapies on the north shore of Lake Superior.

Carol received her initial massage therapy training at Esalen Institute in California. She continued studies in deep tissue, myofascial and connective tissue technique at the Institute for Structural Integration, Miami, Florida. She received training in Traditional Chinese Massage Therapy at the University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nanjing China. She trained and received certification in Neuromuscular Therapy/Trigger Point Therapy at the Neuromuscular Therapy Center, St. Petersburg, Florida. She received extensive training in manual lymph drainage, specializing in post surgical lymph drainage. She is certified by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, state licensed in massage therapy in several states, certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and manual lymph drainage and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is also state licensed in cosmetology in several states specializing in skin care consultation/treatment and post surgical lymph drainage.
