Jane shares her thoughts about massage therapy: "Massage therapy is a very personal experience from the viewpoint of therapist and client. I see the client’s body as whole rather than an assembly of parts. I feel each client has a unique rhythm and timing. I honor the client’s timing by listening carefully to their intention for the session and then to their body’s inner rhythm, allowing it to guide me during the session. In my experience, most bodies need to be brought gently back to center to achieve balance, wellbeing and optimal results. To quote from the Celtic author John O'Donohue, 'The body is your only home in the universe. It is your house of belonging here in the world.' During a session I wait for a client’s body to invite me to assist in reconnecting to their center.”
